CMF to Unveil New Smartwatch and Wireless Earbuds on September 26: Get the Details Here
On September 26, CMF, a newly created sub-brand of London-based startup Nothing, will launch budget-oriented products with a focus on design. Although the brand has not revealed the exact details of the launch, it has previously hinted that it will introduce an affordable smartwatch and truly wireless headphones.
CEO Carl Pei has stated that CMF offers products that are designed with improved accessibility and share the “common DNA” of Nothing.
CMF products are available through Flipkart, Myntra, online stores and others. According to a report by 9to5Google, the initial lineup includes a new 65W 3-port USB-C charger, noise-canceling Buds Pro headphones, and a Watch Pro smartwatch.
TechLeaksZone X (formerly Twitter) has also leaked alleged pricing information, suggesting that the CMF Watch Pro could cost Rs 4,500, the CMF Buds Pro could cost Rs 3,500 and the 65W charger around Rs 3,000. These prices are based on rumors and may not be final. Additionally, the tipster claimed that the watch has a 1.96″ AMOLED panel that supports Bluetooth calls, while the earbuds feature 45db ANC, dynamic bass, and 10mm drivers.
During the brand’s unveiling, CEO Carl Pei mentioned that “CMF by Nothing is priced more affordably – to allow more people to enter our ecosystem.” This is because Nothing as a brand is slowly moving away from being called a budget brand.
Nothing has previously launched “value flagships” like the Nothing Phone 2 and Nothing Phone 1, which offer enthusiast-level internals for less than mainstream flagships. Carl Pei also emphasized that nothing stands out by offering Premium products.
More information about the sub-brand and its operations in India will be revealed after the launch of the products on September 26 at 14:30 IST. In the current range of Nothing, it only offers context Nothing Phone (2), Nothing Phone (1), Nothing Ear (Stick), Nothing Ear (2) and Power (45W) charger.
